Service Description

The removal of a benign mole on the face or elsewhere on the body is performed using a shave excision. This technique is suitable, for example, for a mole you wish to remove for cosmetic reasons. The procedure is quick, performed under local anesthesia, does not require stitches, and usually leaves only a minimal scar. Book a consultation to discuss the available options. The treatment for a single skin lesion can be carried out immediately following the consultation or scheduled for a later date. During the consultation, we will also discuss the possibility of sending the removed tissue to a laboratory for analysis (histology), if needed. At Arkadia Kliniek, we perform cosmetic treatments only on benign skin lesions. If there is any doubt about the nature of a mole or skin abnormality, we recommend first consulting your general practitioner or dermatologist. This treatment is not covered by insurance and is fully at your own expense.
